Kanata Fencers at RMC Invitational

We sent three teams to this year's RMC team tournament.

They all fought well against a competitive field and gave us a good idea of what we need to work on!

The women's foil team of Daphne, Lauren, and Susan finished 11th of 16 teams.

Men's sabre with Bob, Taner, and Mark finished 18th of 22 teams.

Our foil team of Vadim, Brandon, and Riley finished 19th of 24.

Special mention to former Kanata fencers Kuzey and Monique, who each won gold for their respective university teams!

Register with the CFF

Hello Everyone,
The new season is starting soon, and it's time to register with the CFF (Canadian Fencing Federation).
A CFF membership is required to fence at our club. This gives us insurance coverage.
Most members will only need the recreation membership ($35/year). If you're competitive, and fence at anything larger than the ODFC, you'll need the competitive membership ($80/year).
Please send me your CFF number once you've updated it.
Register with the CFF here:
Note, starting this year you will be required to create an account with the CFF and register on your own. In the past I was able to register everyone at once, but this is no longer the case.

Kanata in Almonte

Last evening Kanata Fencing participated in "Mississippi Mills at a Glance" in Almonte.
